Fitting instructions

First you need to clean the surface. Wash using soap and water. Do not use quick detailer as the tape will not bond to the surface properly.

For interior surfaces be mindful not to get any electronics wet.

Then dry thoroughly using a lint free towel.

Next you will want to use the included alcohol wipe to remove any remaining solvents on the surface.

Once the surface has dried from the alcohol wipe, use the adhesion promoter wipe. This helps the adhesive on the sticky tape to form the best bond it can

Now you're ready to attach the item, peel off the backing tape.

On red items it can sometimes be harder to see, tilting the item in the light will show the backing tape reflecting the light off it's shiny surface.

Press and hold the item against the surface you want to stick it to, making sure to use a firm and even pressure to make sure all of the tape forms a bond.

Keep pressing and holding the item for up to 60 seconds, when you can pull your hand back and the item is stuck evenly.

If you're attaching in temperatures lower than 10c, you will need to warm the surface the item is being stuck to. You can use a hair dryer or heat gun on a low temperature. All tapes struggle to form an initial bond in colder temperatures and warming the surface overcomes this.

Each unit is printed in PETG and comes with car body trim clips to secure it to the scuttle panel.Push both retaining pins down at the same time, if you struggle, use a flat head screwdriver to push the pin down. Make sure the pins are fully pushed in, for a secure fit. If the pins don't secure the scoop properly to the scuttle panel, you may need to nuts and bolts, you would need to source these yourself.
